Incredibly well received in New Zealand, Ambrose has toured with Michael Barrymore, played with Ben Morrison and the NZ Pops, Susan Prentice, Larry Morris, and Susie Lynch/Steve Larkins, among other notables. When not touring, he's a staff musician /teacher at Studio 10/New Frontier Records and the Corelli School, NZ's only academic school of the arts headed by the gifted David Selfe. New Frontier is where Hayley Westenra recorded her first hit record. Ambrose is featured with NZ's soulful Jerome Hendrix, and he just finished recording with James Ray, New Zealand's top country/pop artist, winner of the '03 Trans-Tasman Entertainer of the Year award.

Ambrose has set up a studio in Auckland, New Zealand. "Contrary to popular belief, New Zealand is not only a very modern environment, but also a very creative environment" says Ambrose. "Not only was the Oscar winning Lord of the Rings trilogy filmed here, it was produced by Kiwis as well." Ambrose looks forward to film scoring in the future, but at present is busy touring, teaching, and working on selections for his next CD release. He loves working with his young students, and does clinics whenever he can.

In 2003 Ambrose was back on America's shores with "The Best of New Zealand Tour". He's represented by Pacific Entertainment, who discovered Hayley Westenra. Ambrose's unique sound was featured with New Zealand and international stars such as Ben Morrison, the 17 year-old virtuoso violinist, Tim Beveridge, NZ's hottest Broadway star, million selling guitar legend Gray Bartlett, Kiwi "Voice of Country Music" Brendan Dugan and Maori singer Taisha.

Ambrose's 2004 calendar has included a tour with the legendary Petula Clark. At Auckland's Civic Theatre, Ambrose got to open up for the platinum selling supergroup "America" while performing as a special guest for NZ's own Larry Morris Band.

While Ambrose continues doing what he loves most, his new CD is currently being received favorably around the world. A dynamic performer, Ambrose always gives it his all, loves playing to the audience and looks forward to his upcoming live performances. His passion and commitment breathe true through every note.
